girl's jacket sewing pattern - PDF sewing patterns - easy sewing patterns

The Little Lady Jacket
PDF sewing pattern
GIRLS sizes 6months - 8 years

Yesterday as these pictures were rolling in from the sewing pattern testers my heart was overflowing with gratitude and joy! To be able to help someone turn a piece of fabric into a wearable piece of clothing is so rewarding! I love helping women sew for themselves or the little bitties in their lives.

Here you can see our newest sewing pattern called The Little Lady Jacket sewing pattern by Seamingly Smitten. This sewing pattern will help you sew a boutique styled, long sleeved and ruffle collared jacket. for girls sizes 6months - 8 years. The raglan sleeves make this jacket quick to create and there is no gathering and insetting of the sleeves. Simply pin and sew! You can even add a pop of coordinating color as the lining. Check out this polk-a-dotted lining fabric!

Even if you have never sewn a lined piece of clothing before or a jacket, you can sew this one! Three buttons keep this jacket closed, or if you are a beginner you can use Velcro strips without having to deal with buttons or buttonholes. This sewing pattern is for every level of sewing! Start sewing today!

**Full size pattern pieces are included. They are color-coded and computer drawn. All sizes 6 months – 8 years are included in this pattern.
This sewing pattern features 48 clear photo illustrations and detailed, tutorial style instructions to help you create your very own Little Lady Jacket. There are also several HINTS throughout the pattern so you can learn extra techniques as you sew.

You can make it in so many fabrics and can dress it up or down: denim, wool, flannel, fleece, wool blend, linen, silk, cotton, corduroy and many more.

Here it is in a super cuddly fleece. This jacket pattern can be used to sew a simple jacket or it can be dolled up with fabric-covered buttons, appliqued shapes, animals or flowers or simply and beautifully made as is.

Turn the cuffs up to expose the jacket lining and your girl will be the talk of the town! Everyone will want one of these Little Lady Jackets that you made!

You can stand the collar up or flip it down to show off your two fabrics.
You will definitely keep your little one warm in her Little Lady Jacket!

Enjoy sewing this jacket sewing pattern even if you are a beginner sewer! As always, I'm happy to help if you ever have any questions while you sew a Seamingly Smitten sewing pattern!

Happy Sewing!
Jenny
